Fishing has changed significantly in recent years. Fish are under a lot of pressure from pollution, environmental changes, global warming, invasive species, and fish-eating birds.

Young anglers today favor modern techniques and are interested in a wide variety of species.

All fishermen must be able to fish in lakes or rivers that are suited to their various techniques and habits.

It is therefore necessary to rethink fishing in Valais in order to meet the expectations of experienced fishermen and new generations.

The FCVPA wishes to collect as much feedback as possible from active fishermen in Valais through a survey. The results will enable us to focus our efforts for change on the expectations of amateur fishermen.

Although focused on Valais, most of the survey concerns fishing in general. We therefore invite all fishermen to participate.
